A lot of good comments here about the mods and switch's. after reading all sides I'm sticking to my guns with my amp on Dave's bench and getting the BE/C45/HBE with SAT/FAT switchs. sometimes it's better to have and not need then need and not have! with that said, i agree with the descision about cost and style of music played to make a good call, great taste in Bands to choose from your tone.

Well, I am still on the edge here. I may still just get the whole Kitchen Sink Mod with the HBE included. Not sure! Might be a good idea to just get the whole thing. How much difference in price is it without the HBE? If its not much less, it may be a good idea to just get it. I am still jumping back and forth.

$500 (one mod),$100 addtl (each extra mod)...or $700 (for all three mods)- ala "Kitchen Sink" (BE,C45,HBE)

SAT switch is addtl $50

shipping BACK is addtl(probably varies on where you're located)



...that's why,on a budget,i recommend one mod(Brown Eye) and the Sat switch...$550 plus shipping ...do what u want.

Thanks for the info. What I was wanting to do would of been $650 anyway. To the HBE is only an extra $100. Might as well go for it!

$900? Damn... I am not liking the sound of that. Dave told me $700 for the Kitchen Sink and $50 for Sat Switch. Of course.... maybe he swapped Transformers in your amp and thats why it was $900?
