Look, forget all the gear stuff for a moment. Listen and judge! There is a lot of EMOTIONS in this song. And thats the deep force of music. Besides of that big sentence, the guitar riff is just cool and easy but very effective.
And from the technical view the whole miracle is in the groove. The drums and bass guitar is the key. Dont forget. So there is the the groove, the song, the band and after all there is the equipment, amps, pedals and the music industry!!!!
 
one of the best tones in the 80's to me. Huge fan. I was just jacking around the other day in the music room that song came on Pandora I cranked it up and let it rip, next thing I know my groupie wife came in and that was all she wrote. Just a pantie dropper song. AND IT WORKS 60% of the time ever time.
