Here we go again....Rig progress thread.

Cool, the guys at my church use a massive pedal board, mostly line 6 stuff though.... Too dumb to try the HBE stuff, I keep trying to tell them, but in this town if it's not Marshall, Peavey or Line 6 nobody knows what it is.

The line 6 won't be on my board. I have been playing since 1960 and electric since 1982. Years of trying stuff has made me settle for only the very highest quality. My new ES-339 is begining to open up and is sounding better every time I play it. Gotta break em in, ride down into the dirt and put them away wet.

No, Bro.... 10 EMPTY racks, well, not all of em, but Shells used in like, a dozen different configurations to get all I wanted in one place... Now, all I need is this... sorry for the shit resolution off my phone... this is the one I can rip like hell with an at least my old broken down ass can carry it to the fkn car....

Seriously, it looks like its comin along well!! I bet it sounds killer!

I just wired my rack up again, i use a Boogie MKIII and my Cameron JMP for main amps and i take a line out from either amp to feed my FX in my rack. The fx are hooked up to a line mixer and then fed to my Peavey Classic 60/60 poweramp, so its a Wet/Dry rig and sounds great!!

Heres an old pic, its the same now except the Peavey Poweramp was added and also an Intellifex was added aswell.

Gotta tell ya, that fkn Ear Candy with the mc90's brought that amp to life... no fkn joke. I'll NEVER play a mark iv again without em... it opened up the tonal possibilities of the eq to LIFE as well... subtle changes are all different and individually Xciting an inspiring.... 70's... 75's.... even a set of greenbacks (4x12) didnt do it for me the way this cab/speaker combo has... I push that eq and EVERY difference makes me wanna try something new with that amp.... I have instant FKU in your face on stage attack, at ANY volume, TV speaker vol, and 'Piss off the neighbors and make their kitty cry out loud' volume.... I love it... cant say enuff for the speaker change alone.... Loving it.....Truly....

Dan, I told ya, I had the iv slaved out to a 2:90 sent out to 2 4x12's at one point (rack configuration #6 if i remember... ) but my biggest fear was the KISS concept... I'm so afraid to have something fk up on me live with soooo many options in one rig that I opted to build for the simplest TRANSPORTABLE rig available, no matter what the size of the house, so I could take it out and pack it in my POS car without begging for help to 'load out' by myself at the end of a gig.... I love the fact that I can actually handle this rig and still get that 'Sykes/Stryper/Boston' sound amongst others that I always wanted while playing in the simplest configuration available... pull the eq out an I'm feelin the Robbin Ford thing... I truly love the versitility I have while getting the Tube sustain an tone I gotta have... Im a happy idiot... NOW YOU GUYS ARE GONNA HAVE TO HELP ME GET IT THRU MY MACKIE TO MY SOUND CARD SO IT SOUNDS LIKE IT DOES IN THE ROOM, cause I'm an idiot....

If i could get an EarCandy 2x12 with the mc90's, it would be perfect for taking to gigs, without having to worry about getting a hernia before the show starts

Im using a 4x12 with Greenbacks now.. but im considering either a cab or speaker change. If i want mc90's, i'd be better off just hunting down a Boogie 2x12.

Why the drawer? My bass player stuck one of those in his rack too. It's semi-conveinient but I don't get it for the most part. I'd rather have all my cables, hoo-ha and whatnot in a briefcase or something. That's just me...

I've got an Egnater M4 on order, thats going in, and the drawer is for storage of the Modules on one side, and the other side will be for spare tubes, pics, strings etc.....
