TBH, from what I have heard from videos mostly, the Cameron has a massive mid thing happening, very aggressive, the Friedman BE100 I do not believe is or has that level of aggressiveness. I have played a BE100, very nice amp, I think its a smoother sound, but I have never seen or played a Cameron...

Its not the best sounding cameron mod I've heard but it's not as bad as Dan makes it out to be either. Like others said, it's not recorded well and who knows how it was dialed in. As most know, it also depends on the quality of the donor amp. THERE ARE OTHER well known modders who have sent back complete noisy, smoking, turds for $1200 , trust me.

If we're talking about non-master volume amps, then an attenuator is really just another way to get overdrive. Similar idea to the master volume control in your amp

Cameron modded Marshalls are the best sounding modded Marshalls I've played..and a lot of other players agree. As I've said before, Dave's production amps sound great..SS, JJ and the BE. But the 2 Friedman Marshalls I've had? They weren't even close to sounding as great as the Ocean, 2 Aldrich and Jose modded Marshalls by Cameron.
