Here's one way for Australia to make up for the money they're losing from Trump's tariffs.

Make up your mind bro, you said it was a democracy. You change your definitions as often as scroogle and dickapedia.
The reality is you can be a republic because it has an elected president not a king and a democracy because it has elected representatives for the people - it's obviously federal because it's a federation of states - it has a constitution so constitutional - it's representative because you have representatives elected from all states representing their electorates. It's all of those things. It's not one or the other. They are all different properties of your country's system - like a door has properties, it's not either wooden or brown or rectangular or has a door handle. It can be wooden, rectangular, brown and have a door handle. They are properties of the door.

I can't believe I have to actually explain things like that - unbelievable.

It can't be a democracy. A democracy would be mob rule, it's a representative republic.

It has to be one of the other.

No there is more to democracy than direct democracy. There is representative democracy.

Here's a quote from James Madison; who is considered the "Father of the Constitution" and the 4th US President, that I think best describes the difference. The US is best defined as a Representative Republic as it was originally intended by the founding fathers. Anything else is a twisting of that definition.

Wait, let me check scroogle and dickapedia to see if that is correct.
