I am merely curious what everyones opinion is on heritage h150s etc?

I picked up a h 150 used for a great price, mint condition, owner even lightly aged it which is kinda cool.

This thing is very impressive, i would put it against gibson standards anyday. Pics within of the axe. Sounds and plays great.

I had a ES-335 version years ago when I was in college. Picked it up for cheap and it was an awesome guitar. I will say I much preferred the neck on my buddies Gibson ES-335 though and eventually sold it to fund a Les Paul.

I've had an itch for another one as some of the tops on the 150s are spectacular for the price, much like yours.

Its a new production or production of old owners? Old owners where the workers ex. Gibson, and the production methodes where old school, which I love.

I almost ordered a custom a few years back because I think they are the real les paul. But the company wasn't doing customs at the time. I wanted a les paul with a single humbucker and a single volume. Kinda like the lp junior, but no soapbox.

they are great guitars.. I think the neck pitch is different to a les paul on the standards- in order to make you upgrade to the custom for the same specs as a gibson... I think they are all cad these days just like everyone else

I've had a goldtop h-150 for a few years and I really prefer it to the 83 Les Paul Custom and the 98 studio that I had. The neck is a little bigger than I usually go for but it feels good. A lot of people complain about the weight of the the h-150 but I don't find it a problem. Solid guitar that is one of the few I didn't change the electronics on. The Duncan 59s just work for me.

Just saw Alex Skolnick playing an ESP. Is he no longer with Heritage?

I would look for a Heritage if I were looking for a Les Paul right now, and I'd probably ask Brent for help.

Well, all I can say is the one I got is amazing! I have read and heard the h150 is spec'd to a '59 neck profile? I've never played a R9 to know, but the neck is similar to my Knaggs Kenai which is absolutely spec'd to '59 neck profile. The body on the Heritage is pretty beefy and the fat mids and sound is definitely there.. I would put it up against any Gibson for sure. Just blown away with it.. was not expecting it to be as good as it is.

Our resident Heritage fanatic will jump in here soon, don't you worry. He knows and is an expert on Heritage.

I just order an oxblood h150... it should be fantastic!

Yeah you already mentioned this in this thread earlier, is there something I am missing or a long history of conflict ?

LOL Nah man, i ditched pointy guitars like 15yrs ago, played prs a while and love them. Now I am rocking the h 150 and a Knaggs Kenai. Both are single cut looking axes. I guess you could say I am adaptive, but the journey is fun trying and learning new things too.
