Hermansson 3GS modded 1987x.

3 way mid, 3 way bright, and Punch control. Loaded with EL34’s. Single channel, but the volume clean up is other worldly. Fantastic shape. There’s a subtle bend in the plastic faceplate near the punch knob - completely cosmetic just being transparent. You have to look hard to notice it.

I had a 50 watt 3gs. It's more in the hard rock than metal camp but a killer amp with tons of feel and versatility. I have a 3gs/4gs and a 5gs or I would pick this up. The amp sounds and feels a lot different from the 5gs to warrant both. The overlap (outside of feel) is pretty minimal

I really Appreciate that input, I love a good rock amp, I'm craving for that cutting rhythm tone I hear on 5gs clips(Meshuggah?), wondering if the 3gs will get close maybe with a boost.

There’s a lot of string noise - pretty low volume. Probably doing the amp a disservice but this is the only clip I have and I’m out if town
