So devastating, to deal with my friend who showed me how to be a musician has died. He was a few years older than me but he lived it. We never listened to music like everyone else, we dissected it to hear beyond what goes by to the point where you wear it out to most. He showed me how to listen to it. To this day I can hear what seems like no one else can and I owe it to him. Just broken, it didn't hit me until my wife and I were asked to give a list of songs and it was Page, bron-yr-aur...fucking shattered me man. Just could instantly see him pulling it off like we always did note by note.

I know u guys don't know him but knew you all could relate, this is RT. RIP Martin White, I owe my understanding to your endless use of heart. The only way to do it right.

Even heroes pass on, sadly.

Take that understanding you learned from Martin and keep living it man; he'll live on through you.

Deeply sorry for your loss. It sounds like you consider yourself a very fortunate person to have had him in your life so no doubt the void left behind by his loss is difficult!. Great advice and good friends are pretty rare in any day and age I will pray for you and the soul of Martin White. Be blessed exo-metal and may your buddy RIP in greener pastures than we.

This reminds me of my friends of old. They got it, or listened until they did, and then they could point out what makes it special. Then listen to it over and over again with you.

Now most of my friends would talk right through your favorite song and then shut it off right before the climax.

I'm really sorry for your loss man. I hope you can find comfort in knowing he's watching over you smiling when you put those Jacksons through their paces!
