Anybody use these?

They look pretty cool, .94 Ultex with the jazz point.

I dig em. I like the 1.14 alot also. Nice for a darker sounding guitar. I like the new dunlop tortex III also in yello and green. Same shape.
If you like that shape check out the cool pick phat cats. I like the 1.00 and 1.30. About = to a regular med and heavy pick.

thanks for the heads up!

looks like Dunlop has been busy after the success of the Jazz III picks.

i play the RED XL Jazz III, miss a thinner pick sometimes, but love that sharp point.

Yea you should order a few of each and try them out if your into the large jazz III. I like the red xl Jazz III also, got a big bag of them but hardly touch them. I use the phat cats mostly but there kinda hard to find locally.

I have tried a lot of picks and from different brands but for me Dunlop picks are the best.Just my opinion.I used a lot and a long time the Tortex 0.88mm.The Blackfang picks are like the Ultex Sharp.I use the 1.14mm and they are awesome.Unfortunately they are not cheap.

I prefer a regular Ultex Sharp in either 1 or 1.14mm.
That being said, I liked the Black Fang - in feel and tone, it landed somewhere between an Ultex and Tortex pick. Standard Ultex seems brighter than the Black Fang.

I love the Ultex. I play the 1.14 standard tip. WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE A 1.40 or 1.50 (standard tip) FOR FUCK SAKE!

I use the Ultex Jazz III's. I prefer a Gravity Mini Classic though.

I bought the .73's. I like them, But I prefer my tortex .60's or tortex "the wedge" .88's.

I'm using a 1.14 right now (came with my hetfield emgs). I'm going to have to buy some more.

How big are these picks? I'd love something in between the Ultex sharp & Jazz III.

I love the XL Jazz III.
Bigger than the regular Jazz III, but smaller than a standard size pick.

I love them, got Tortex III's too but after trying almost every Dunlop pick over the years and eventually switching to Red Bear picks I got sent the Black Fangs to review and fell in love with the 1.14mm (.94mm for acoustic) and ordered a big bag of them! I love the smooth feel of the Ultex with the jazz III tip shape.

Here's a comparison video demo showing various TIII gauges and a Black Fang

I've got some super thick purple picks instead. I think they're almost 3mm thick, or maybe just 2.5mm.

I'll have to check those out. I've been using the Planet Waves Black Ice which are just a little bigger than the Pitch Black Jazz III's. Just enough that they don't slip on me. Only problem is they don't hold their shape long (I've meaning to try the 1.5 to see if those hold better). I'm not gonna lie though, I miss that Ultex sound.

I've been wanting to grab one, but none of my local shops have them. For some reason I've been into thinner picks lately though. Over the past year, I've been going thinner and thinner. I used to use 1.14mm or 1mm, but now I'm down to .73 and .60. My go to pick right now is .60mm Tortex "The Wedge".
