Don't waste your time bud , there are some people out there that are truly hopeless .

Please donate yourself to science right now, the amount of knowledge we would gain in Dunning-Kruger research would be earth shattering :ROFLMAO:

All you have to do is give examples of why things are incorrect and why what you post is correct . Very very simple

You of all people are saying this? Irony is indeed dead. And buried.

The term has come to imply something entirely different than what the phrase actually means. Unless you believe it's impossible for people in positions of power to conspire to commit crimes, in which case you're simply naive. I think what people mean is more something like, "Crackpot theory."

To me legit examples of "conspiracy theories" are for example "white supremacy" and "nazi stuff". Those get thrown all over mass media and some people simply believe it because it's repeated ad nauseam.

There's absolutely no way to logically and rationally prove any of those. Not even using "alternative" resources.

Well when you put it like that, reverse racism is a conspiracy theory I suppose.

Put the words together and you get literally this thread
I dunno, I try to vet pretty carefully what I post in terms of factualness. I think the term is simply used as a pejorative to dismiss any theory of malfeasance committed by those in power. Clearly some "Theories" are wrong (And ridiculous). But surely some are right and never acknowledged.

But back to the point I originally made, I prefer the lighthearted ones over this. No matter how you slice it millions of people died. Whether it was planned or not; true or not; these people’s deaths are largely used as a cold statistic to prove one’s point, while the “emotional” arguments are all about canceled travel plans and wearing a mask waiting to be seated at dinner.
In my opinion, it’s fucked.

Some people hear 9/11 and think “fire can’t melt steel derrrp” it’s the same thing. The human tragedy is trumped by anger towards politicians.

Oh god no! Not that can of worms again.

Because white supremacists and nazi stuff as you called it aren't conspiracy theories just like racism.
Of course they are and they are both abstract for the thinking man and naive, concrete for the simple man all at once. Racism, in general, I don't know if it's a conspiracy theory, a conspiracy or none of them.

Ok so white supremacists are racist = real and no conspiracy theory. Nazi stuff is real = no conspiracy theory. Racism is real = no conspiracy theory. Plain and simple.

When you think about what a conspiracy is, there needs to be a group of people acting on it.
When "white supremacy" is sold in the media it is implied that the "white society" is somehow in it which means hundreds of millions of people are working together to do their ... whatever they do ... in unlawful ways. That's pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

On the other hand I actually believe that for example stakeholders in some pharma companies have a strong interest in "mitigating" the real numbers of medical side effects and there are actual instances when they did so unlawfully and were caught. This doesn't mean they all do, that they do it with evil intentions or anything else unless proven true.

Also, copy/pasting public data from websites does not constitute as proving anything in most cases.

Don't skip logic courses and drive, son!

Yeah, I agree it's dark shit. And I don't attribute malice/conspiracy to 99% involved — but that goes back to the psychology experiments we covered... Something isn't right is all I'll say.

Well, theres many, many more anomalies than just that.
