This is essentially the B side of the SL2X module but man it is absolutely killer. I call it "The Appetite" mod. It simply is awesome. I had tried the original Caswell 39# mod on my JCM800 clone and it was screechy and too thin for me. This is way better. Very usable and not only does it sound great, it feels right. Maybe some of you with an AFD100 can chyme in but remember the world of MTS modules is never going to be exactly like the amp it mimmicks.. it will however get really close. Alnico II's, greenbacks, Lynchbox, presence at almost 5 pm, gain at 3 on the module. Treble about 2. Let me know what you think:

This was one take and i didn't bother with eq. A bit of verb to cop the original feel of the recordings but the rest is as is. No solos as I was missing the high E and no decimator to kill the noise. Just raw GnR.

Props to Jeff. This is now my fave module. It kills the Judge!

Thanks I think it sounds pretty killer if I do say myself!

Sounds very GNR. Congrats on finding a tone you dig. I think the Judge is a totally different type of modded Marshall sound.

I'm sure the Judge will still have it's place in my rack for smoother lead tones and fatter rythm tones, but this module serves it's purpose for sure. I think Jeff nailed it and while A/B'ing it against the isolated track, I think I could get it even closer if I brought up the mids and maybe backed off the treb a bit. One thing I will say about the Judge is that it really does take pedals well.

I sure did.. I think i've also just caught a case of the modded modules because now it seems harder to go back..
