So my wife has been telling me for the past few weeks that she has something big planned for my birthday.

Tonight after dinner, she said, "so I know you like to plan things out so I was wondering if you would like to know what your present is... it's going to be a once in a lifetime thing so maybe you can plan ahead..." seemed very cryptic. I agreed, so she took out a homemade Jeopardy board...

The answers to the clues were:

Light
Buffalo, NY
EVO-o
Meet and Greet

Then she said, "We're flying to Buffalo, NY in a month for a Steve Vai Evo Experience... meet and greet, soundcheck and 3rd row concert tix.

Then she told me that I should buy a guitar so he could sign it. HOLY CRAP!!!!

Best wife ever!!!!

Cool wives rule! Although, there's always that nagging feeling that there's a catch somewhere....

I would say you better start planning her next birthday. You will have to top that trip to NY.

I would have been pissed; I hate Buffalo and Im not enough of a Vai fan to want see him again,let alone get on a plane to do so. Id simply ask for an American Express gift card with the cash value of the whole shebang including the new guitar...

Congrats though and Happy Bday John, She sounds like a keeper. I didnt even know that you got married LOL!!! congrats on that too!!
