I just bought my standard from this shop...good guys to deal with.

I was just looking at that Modern tonight and it is stunning. I didn't dare play it...for fear that I would really really like it. :D

Yeah, I really have been thinking about this one to go with my Suhr one piece Maple Modern. Would be a cool pair.

meh...looks like another overpriced maple top. However I'd like to have a 7 string modern with the drip. :thumbsup:
 
Would it even sound good? I thought there was a reason other than the cost for not building bodies out of solid burled wood. It looks like it was built to be put on display, not to be played.
 
Ah.. I love that guitar, I actually talked to them about it before that shop got it... It was too nice to tour with. I dont think some of these dudes realize its not a quilt top....its a quilt body! Looked so sick in person..

Tell you what...and I usually don't sell gear. But in this economy there's no way I'd buy 5500 dollar guitar because resale on it won't get close.
I sold one of my purty Suhrs a few years back when I needed money for the down payment for my house and a guitar and I bought through a store for 2300 I sold for 2800. That I can get behind. But you take something with a Floyd and a less tarditional look and you're not getting the usual money crowd excited. heck, unless Brad buys it that is... :rock:
 
I would never, even if i was filthy rich, buy a guitar for $5500. Why would anyone? You get so much other killer gear for that kind of money.
 
There is no guitar worth $5500 to me. There is no guitar worth $2500 to me.
