I didn't think I would, but I think it makes tuning and adjusting the bridge easier. I don't have to take the back off, just turn the dial a little. BUT, I don't use much tremelo.

No, not really. It's a decent idea but I don't think they executed it as well as they could have and they cut some costs (like having the saddle lock-down screws thread into the zinc baseplate rather than a steel insert like the earlier trems). As far as I can tell, they zero point was an attempt to get around a patent that supposedly covered the BackStop-type device, and they'd have been better off just getting a license to keep using the BackStop IMHO.

I've never looked at it much, other than adjusting the dial to get the trem level... now I know.

I almost bought one of those. Think it was an Iron Label or something? Was alright, nothing great. Fit and finish are pretty good on the Indo models. Electronics are another story. I got most import guitars. I really don't give two shits anymore. I pick the thing up and it's still in one piece. I replace the hardware on them with better or different finish hardware (probably made in Indonesia) and tell myself it's better now.

But the few Ibz Imports I've had (recent) the volume pots sucked. I had an old 540 Power (the one with the big lower horn) and like a retard sold it.

I like it 'cause it has dark wood... wait, dark stain, wait... finish that's the word. The Ibanez I have is RGD2127z prestiege blah blah blah.. made in Japan 7 string. All I know is it is tuned low, and fucking rocks!

Not. Ibanez stopped being a good deal in the 90's. Basswood is and always has been soft junk wood. Why would anyone spend over a grand on a bolt on is beyond me. They only build good guitars for their advertising players. Ibanez suck!
If u want good hard rock metal guitars, buy Esp or Jackson or Dean. Even BCRich is shit these days like in the late 80's early 90's.
