Hey Crew!

Hope everyone is staying healthy out there. I just picked up a Jackson that has 3 single coil pickups. I want to replace the stock pups. I know about the SD hot rails which I like. I want to try something different and thought to reach out to you guys. Thanks in advance and look forward to your suggestions.

Are you looking for true single coils or a humbucker in a single coil size ?

Ah....humbucker in a single coil profile. Direct mount as well.

The Hot Rails are great, even the DiMarzio ones that look like hot rails are cool (Dave Murray uses them). I have the Duncan Duckbuckers, the Lil ‘59 and a ‘lil Screamin’ Demon, not a fan of the demon, the lil 59 is very cool, the duckbuckers probably aren’t what you’re looking for.

For Neck and Middle, I love the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound:

I bought a custom shop Charvel and it came with that in the neck. I was floored because I had all but given up on single coils snd switched to hum buckers in a single coil size. Sounded strong and didn't notice a drop off from the bridge humbucker.

I’m running the hot rails bridge and neck on one of my strats and I installed the new Dimarzio Sugar Chakra and Chopper on the other strat. Very, very happy with both setups.

Yep! Got that one in the neck of my Charvel DeMartini "Frenchie" and has a great tone for that bit dirty, bluesy stuff.

As mentioned, a few guys in Maiden have used single coils in the bridge for years. I've never owned one but don't forget about the JJ. Jr. also. Not sure how it compares with the Hot Rails.
