Seriously!! There are ten different 420 festivals going on today. I'm playing one of them. Hope all the stores stocked up on twinkies and Doritos!

Guarantee the tokers won't pile in their attitudes like the drunks do. Prepare to blow their minds maaaaaannnn......

Just about every town in America is a pot smoking town. Some are just more open about it than others.

I'm 49 and I have smoked on and off since about age 13. I'm professional and educated and people would be surprised on who smokes , folks who you'd never in a million years expect them to. When and if this becomes decriminalized these people may or may not come in public. We need to take advantage of the tax revenues this would bring in. There is no harm in its use and the argument about he pot head living in his moms basement cannot be used...these losers would be losers whether they smoked weed or not.

I was reading up on this a while ago and found that there has not been one recorded case of someone dying from smoking weed. Ever.
Of course tens of thousands die every year from alcohol related deaths.
The whole thing is a scam.
Oh, and people are just flat out stupid.

Not only has nobody died from it, but a recent Harvard study claims that it reduces the risk of lung cancer. It also combats Mad Cow's disease, glaucoma, nausea, seizures and cancer, etc. There's a film called 'Running From the Cure', that documents 'hemp oil''s efficacy at treating various cancers up in Canada. Actually, there's also a receptor on virtually every cell of your body that can bind with it and it has a preservative effect on the brain. Unfortunately the #1 industry in America is the pharmaceutical industry, it is anti-establishment and various criminal organization have a vested interest in keeping it illegal.

They legalized it here & since I see people smoking in public often. As far as the law & revenue goes they past this law (like most) without most people really understanding the law. I read the whole thing several times & in many ways they made things much worse. You can take my word for it ..... They fucked up the whole thing. So be careful about what you wish for. Personally & many people I know feel it was much better the way it was before the law became involved in the legalization.

I rarely smoke any more / slowed down years ago..... early November was the last time. The main reason I quit is because of the law they passed & how it effects the DWI laws here. I am not going to go into detail .... but it is not good & it goes way beyond the Driving While Intoxicated stuff.

Interesting. I don't smoke weed but I was thinking that if did legalized it here in Arizona it would cut down on the border violence and generate reveune for the state.

The revenue they told everyone it would produce (this was a huge part of how they publicized the law change) they now know is pretty much a joke. Only people that have a lot of money to invest will make money off it if & when that happens. Within a month the street price dropped from about $280/$300 a ounce to $150.... then down to about $100. Since then the price has gone back up & moves around. The street price was already going down because of the fact anyone could get a card for medical. There is not a lot of violence here going on around pot ... Most of that is around hard drugs. I would guess that is pretty much the same every place. The majority of weed in the USA is grown here .... weed coming here from Mexico & other places has slowed down a lot in the last few decades.

As usual they are spending a lot more money then they make .... I would be surprised if that ever changed. It has so far caused them to spend a lot more money ....

Well the gig was fun, however, we had to compete with buzzfest and the other 420 festivals. I did have a great time playing my nee C.R. Alsip guitar. They sent me a loaner while mine is getting built. Ive never played a guitarwith so much sustain. And the thing feels like and old broken in baseball glove. Feels like ive been playing it for 20 years

Very cool .... any kind of Festival is fun to play.

Agreed. Man what was cool last week is we played the austin 10-20 rock and roll marathon for 11000 contestants with candle box. It was awesome to have runners stop and listen while in the middle of a marathon!
