Renault, Red Bull, Toyota, Toro Rosso, and BMW probably won't be there either, so basically it won't even be F1 anymore. I'm not too worried though. They'll probably change their "decision" considering basically every team would quit.

I was never a fan of anything from PA but for this series, I was a Pens fan due to my new hatred for the stupidest sports fans in all of sports: Washington Capitals fans. I joined their forum in the first round when they played my Broadway Blueshirts. Those fans A) No nothing about hockey B) bail on their team after every loss and C) get right back on the band wagon when they win the next day. Oh, and they CRY about every thing.

There's nothing not to like about the team Washington has (well except for Jose Theodore ) but those "fans" are a joke.

I never joined, but I read the caps board at this time of year for the entertainment value. It's hysterical.

I hate the caps, but I felt bad for varlamov. He earned the right to be in there until HE decided that he was done. I thought pulling him for theodore was a shitty move.

I'm soo glad Theodore was kicked out by the habs, I couldn't watch a single game when he was there. just when you think "okay its gonna be an easy save " -> GOAL damn.

Nah man, the coach had to do something to try to spark the team, Varlamov obviously wasn't in top form...kinda felt bad for the kid too, because he'd played well up to that point. However, if nobody on the Caps was going to go out and fight to try to spark the team, there was not much else Boudreau could do.

Varlamov played 7 NHL games before being put in against the Rangers. Against a team that doesn't score, you can get by. And they still only squeaked by the Rangers. He was bad in games 5 and 6 against Pit as well. Once they put JT back in net, you knew it was over.

You have to love Ovechkin and how electric he is but they were going nowhere with the kid in net.

I found myself routing for the caps this series, but I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over the loss.

I know EXACTLY what you mean about Caps fans. Obviously there are exceptions, but many fans in the DC area are as you described.
