My 5 year old hears them all with no problem on crappy laptop speakers. Me, not so much

Man....Wished I never played this little thing....Now I'm freaking out..I've lost some frequency's in my hearing.....12/15 and 16.....Weird huh??

My 2 cents...the fact that the majority of guys over 40 can hear above 15k in itself is a miracle.

HEHEHE!

I can hear up to 15k. I had the PC speakers up pretty loud when testing the 18k and the folks in the next few offices came over to see what the noise was all about!

I agree 100%. Even if you don't crank music, you loose the high freequencies as you get older. Methinks that a lot of us over 40 are holding up pretty well!!

F*CK!! I can only hear up to 12K. I knew I had a problem but that is ridiculous! Too many years of cranked 100 watt heads and no ear protection

Will try at home, just got back from playing drums during lunch at home and cymbal splash ring is present   Scored another 18" crash so I had to demo it with the 16"

12k for me on laptop speakers, i can hear the end click on 14k.

That's really cool! I can't believe I can still hear 18k after all the years of crankage!

I'm all the way to 18k...I'll be 48 next month.

I just had a hearing test. I have tinnitus and I'm loosing a bit at 1-2k.
According to the audiologist the 2k loss is normal at my age.

I can actually hear the 16,000 hz, but I have to turn up the speakers all the way... my co-workers keep looking around wondering where the noise is comming from...

The instant I tried it someone asked me if I was taking a hearing test. LOL

I heard all the way up to 18khz.

That happens to be the predominant frequency of a woman's voice....
A gift from God, I'd say...lol

Methinks that it might be a gift from Darwin - men who didn't lose hearing in that frequency range were more apt to commit suicide (or murder) than ones that did...
