I am wanting a powered kemper for flyaway gigs. Just wondering what it sound like through a 4x12 as the backline is almost always 75 watt celestion marshalls. I know the direct to pa will sound awesome but just curious what the cab will sound like to the people up front and to me. Also is controlled feedback possible?

My Kemper sounds amazing through my Marshall 4x12 or even a 1x12 Marshall Haze combo.

So the speaker breakup of celestions is a good effect or is it wanting a clean EV type speaker?

It's going to have a Celestine flavor to it that way....

Cab will sound like a cab being fed a tube amp. You can get controlled feedback no problem depending on the gain of the profile and your relative volume, just like a tube amp.

Great! Unrelated question, how sturdy are the knobs? I'm thinking the rack will stay safer recessed in a case where the lunchbox has a better chance of getting a knob chopped off.

It has knobs that stick out, so if you hit it just right, sure you're going to shear a knob off. Kemper has a pricey padded bag, some guys have used drum or camera bags too with good results.
