I did not watch the video but after speaking to other people about other countries corrections(my specialty) models versus the U.S., what works for them WILL NOT work for us. However if you de-compartmentalize the government and slash key parts of the budget and then reallocate funding.....that's a start. It would have consequences though....

I doubt it will work anywhere in the world. The idea is to give people homes up front for free. Then they have to somehow pay a small fee and keep it up.

The truth doesn't matter if you believe it or not. China has lifted millions out of poverty; you won't see the filth, trash, graffiti, destruction in Chinese cities because they enforce the laws. They still have homeless, not nearly as bad as blue demonctrat dystopian cesspools.
Like anything the government funds without oversight, the opportunities for corruption, graft, malfeasance and outright theft are rampant.
Take SFO; look at how much the "city" spends per homeless person vs the results. There are better ways and other ways to do something different.
If we weren't spending so many tax dollars on offense, arming Ukraine, and supporting 750+ US military bases in foreign countries, and had fiscal oversight we'd make some progress IMO.
They keep taking my taxes anyway; I'd rather see them waste the money on Americans instead of foreigners, and the ruling parasites can still enrich themselves in the process.

The national debt will never be paid off by tax payer dollars. Taxes just cover the interest payments
