I loved my Mark III, but not enough to keep it ;)

I remember one of your heavier settings from a few years back. I think it was like Bass 4, Mids 8, Highs 8 or something another like that. I loved that tone!

I just picked up another Blue stripe Simul-Class and I have a Mark IVB too.

It was a lower volume thing, but I can't remember for the life of me. It might have been lower than that.

I used to run the presence between 0 and 2 on my old Blue Stripe. I loved that amp.

Yea i run my presense 1.8 even a slight touch will scoop the mids alot, sounds amazing when you have it dialed in right, My settings are Treb 4, Mid 5 , Bass 0 Pres 1.8 gain 3.5 other gain knob is broken lol but its got so much mojo and sounds so good i would never need to fix it. i dont use alot of gain though and a very soft V with less highs and low and a little more mids then the super V

What pickups are you using in your Les Paul/s? I just swapped over to an Aldrich in my Standard and am thinking about going back to a JB or Aldrich in my Classic. I'm kind of on an Alnico 5 kick at the moment.

I by no means play anything super heavey but im loving the clarity and tightness of ceramic magnets so Bareknuckle Coldsweats are my favorite pickup by far which is there brightest pickup so thats why i run my mark so dark it sounds amazing though. I dont think i could ever go back to alnico

I have a set of the BK VHIIs, but they're a tad bit too hot on top for me. I might give them another whirl since I've kind of swapped my setup a little bit.

VHII's are very bright as well, What guitar where they in? Another alternative would be a holydiver.
If its a strat style guitar
