55K . . . and I don't even gig anymore (for now). My God, I might need help from a professional . . .

about 3 k and growing...very minimal set up at the moment....guitar amp and eq pedal...

Hell of a lot less than what i spent getting to what i got!

I would never put that number down where my wife might see it....... :D

I didn't pay retail for MOST of my gear, and would likely make $$$, if I liquidated-- which ain't gonna happen in the foreseeable future.

Yeah, it's similar for me as well. I'd probably end up in the positive if I ever liquidated. Definitely a good feeling.

Late 50s, early 60s LP-DONE (by a long shot).

Other than that, I can still see it. Switching units, pedals, amps, guitars, rack gear, I can definitely see it. I'd be fun too :D

..and its the best sound I have had to date!
That's seriously awesome!

I've seriously considered getting down to my pedalboard, one guitar, and an amp/cab. I'd still be happy and in reality I probably should but its hard to part with my guitars. Really only have $3500 or so into amps and cabs after selling my CCV/Axe II. Guitars though, have lots of monies invested but it be tough to thin the herd. I'd have to be in a predicament.

(1) REAL '59 Gibson LP will far exceed that

Yeah, that'd do it.

Is that in a shop or is it yours? I know I've seen you post it before so I am assuming it is yours. I'd be honored just to see that in person. Absolutely beautiful!

I hear you and I absolutely agree.

I have probably $11-13k worth of guitars (on the used market) but it's only 4 guitars and a bass. They all get reasonable playtime. I want 3 more though (57 LP Jr, single coil T.A.G. strat, danocaster tele). It's tough to justify at times because I know I should have two maybe three guitars. And even then, I don't play out at all so why do I need more than one...? But I do. It's an addiction for sure. At least I can get my money back if I'm ever in a pinch, that justifies it all right!? It isn't like a car, a boat, or something like that where once the money is spent, you aren't getting it back. Regardless though, it can get out of hand in a hurry.

Lucky man. So you'll have an unbiassed opinion, are the claims of it being the holy grail legitimate?
