How much to modify a Tourmaster 4100 Head to "M" specs?

Recently picked up a used TM4100 minus the "M" in the serial number. Just wondering how much & how long if I sent it in to get modified to current specs?

So I hear rumor that it's just a coupla caps & a resistor. John - If I'm pretty good with a soldering iron and have done a few pedal kits & mods do you think I could handle this mod. Scale of 1 to 10 on dificulty? 10 being a complete handwired rebuild. Sounds like it might be fairly basic. Obviously would be voiding the warranty, etc but thought I'd ask. If it's a matter of addition rather than subtraction I'd be much more inclined to give it a shot.
