Hey guys, I'm planning to switch to 6550 tubes and I need a little direction on how to Bias my VH4.
I have always own Mesa amps and don't have to bias anything. Do I need any instrument,
or tool to do this.

Thanks in advance.

You need a multimeter and a screw driver, ideally the screwdriver should be the insulated kind.

Instructions on the Diezel website here:

And you should know that the voltages inside the amp are fatal, get it wrong and the best case is that you damage something, worst is that you die. I'm not kidding.

Read up on how to take the measurements and make sure you are comfortable with using a multimeter before attempting this. If you aren't then get a bias tool which will do most of the tricky stuff for you. Personally I'm ok with a multimeter, but I still bought a Bias Rite.

Yeah...what he said   You are gonna love the 6550s!! Get READY!!
