Having a bit of difficulty with my Mesa Boogie 2x12. The sound of one speaker keeps coming and going, so I wanted to open up the back and take a look.
Unfortunately, the backboard is wedgely solidly inside. I tried removing the jack at the back to pull it outward, but it doesn't even budge. Any suggested? I already tried running a thin knife in between the board the cab, but that didn't help.
I've tried other steps such as switching the cab from mono to stereo (without an amp connected) and also putting my hand through the space for the jack plate to reseat the connectors, but that didn't help.
Hoping someone has some suggestions that will fix the intermittent sound problem, I don't mind if I can fix this without the back plate. Then jack is connected to a circuit board that allows the jack to be run in stereo with two 8 ohm outputs or in 4ohm/6ohm as a mono cab, so I am very careful while trying to pull anything.
