How would a Smallbox compare to the Dirty Shirley?

I have a BE100 which I love. Great sound. Just fantastic. That said, the Dirty Shirley is the most fun amp I've ever played. Something about it is addictive. I'd love to get a DS Combo as my backup/grab&go.

I recently took delivery of a DS combo and I have a SB head. I love the SB, but the DS really speaks to me. It's an absolute blast to play. It's a juicy, ballsy rock machine. I have also run the DS through my Fane loaded cabinet and it sounds stellar.

It's a tough call between the two. I own the BE100 and DS40. Ive played the SB and it's a fantastic amp but it over laps with the my BE. The DS is a vintage voiced BE channel with pretty close to the same levels of gain. The DS is warmer, has more fullness overall due to those big coupling caps like a jtm45 and has a trampoline type feel on the attack. The SB is brighter, more karrang in the mids and faster attack. It's more AC/DC to Van Halen where as the DS is more AC/DC to Joe Bonamassa. Here are some vids of my DS.

Killer sounding! Thanks for sharing Brent. That didn`t sound like the mini DS that i played. Seems like there is a big difference between the mini DS and the DS. By the way. Do you still have your BE since i can`t see the BE on the videos.
