How's the flanger on the TC Electronic SCF+

Title says it all. I really like the MXR EVH Flanger with the EVH switch pushed in for high gain and cleans alike. 18V thing getting in the way at the moment though...would I like the flanger on the TC Electronic Stereo Chorus + Pitch Modulator and Flanger? Haven't been able to find a ton of demos on it using the flanger with high gain.
 
Terrible. Thin, scratchy, just full on crap as a flanger.

The chorus function works well, but I didn't like it as it thinned out the midrange.

Stick to the MXR, or get an Electro Harmonix analogue flanger for something different (think Dave Gilmour). Or A/DA- BarraCUUUDDAA!!

Cool, that's what I was thinking after very little info I found. I think I can put the MXR on the board with some creative power routing. Thanks!
