What hum canceling single coil sized neck pickup will be fluid with high gain shred but also do the stratty neck pickup tone?

I love the 69 neck.
His adjusted string spacing also makes a huge difference.![]()
I dig the Dimarzios too but they lack the true single coil spank that the Kinman (which is hum cancelling) has, as well as those "quacky" clean tones on the 2&4 positions. They sound great, but not as good as the Kinman.yngzaklynch":3kpb8rqy said:Got a lot of recommendations for DiMarzio stuff. I dig the DiMarzio VV Blues I have in my strat. What about pickups from the Seymour Duncan camp? I guess the Kinman mentioned above is hum cancelling? Heard great stuff about those pickups.
Does it have enough output to keep up with a hot bridge humbucker?wolf5150":3cg96oq0 said:The 69 is my fave single coil, noiseless or not.
I like a neck single to retain some bite ( humbuckers are simply too smooth in the neck ) and the 69 is his best all rounder.
I have Suhr singles, and a few other Kinmans and the 69 is his crown jewel.
I would say that it does, but you're getting to "touchy" area. Are you more concerned with the ability to hang with a "hot" bridge humbucker (how hot?), or do you want the tonal benefits from your original post? There comes a point, depending on just how hot/loud the bridge pickup is, that you simply can't have it all.yngzaklynch":uge5exre said:Does it have enough output to keep up with a hot bridge humbucker?wolf5150":uge5exre said:The 69 is my fave single coil, noiseless or not.
