Hum canceling single coil neck pickup thread

The HS-2 has more treble than the HS-3 which is why I prefer it to the HS-3
 
I'm opening this thread back up given that I am once again on a search for a similar pup for similar uses to go with a hot Super Distortion in the bridge of a strat. Right now I am trying to decide between the VV heavy blues 2 and the chopper. Suggestions? I don't want quack per say but i'd like thick and defined for faster runs.
