hum noise issue in vh4 loop...

hi!

i recently changed almost all the rig, putted it out all rack stuff, and going again with pedals..., i am running 2 delays, one in front ( strymon timelime) and one in the parallel loop( strymon brigadier) , both pedals are power up with the same power supply unit, isolated outputs, but, with i have a little ground noise in the loop...

anyone can help?

first find out which fx-device is generating the hum by connecting them one by one.

try this cable to connect that fx-device (trs at the fx)

otherwise go for a hum eliminator:
- ebtech hum eliminator or
- jensen (is linked in the article)

You have quite commen problem for a setup that has units connected in-front and in the loop. Most likely your equipment has now two (or more) routes to ground causing a ground-loop. As 'elfredo' suggested, connect the units in signal chain one by one to identify the trouble-maker. Then if this unit is touching any other unit (chassis, cables' metal parts, etc.) try isolating it from them and see if that has any impact.
