I actually went into the soundproof'd room where the cab was just SCREAMING! Damn it was nice to hear George playing some nice rhythms and leads at that volume. All masters wide open!

Well... the dude is responsible for the single best recorded hard rock guitar tone of all time (Under Lock and Key) IMO and is one of my favorite players as well... ULAK really started my whole tone quest - I tried through the 80s to emulate that tone live as much as I possibly could. Standing in that soundproof'd cab room today listening to him play through MY AMP with such control at that volume was awesome...

ULAK tone is indeed so awesome. I love the rawness of the Back for the Attack...but definitely a departure from ULAK
