Manlius has been my go to recently. I have a set of his vinyls in a Les Paul, a dog ear in a junior and a couple tele pickups too.

I’ve been working on a couple parts guitars this one, one getting Wolfetone mean/meaner set and a tele with a Zhangbucker A3 tarpaper

What sort of Tele pickups ? Single coils I presume? May be a big ask, but are you able to give me a review/comparison to the Texas Specials ?

The Manlius set I have is a broadcaster tele bridge and a single coil sized p90 in the neck. I really dig the flat pole broadcaster style pickups because I don’t really get very twangy. Perfect for just banging shit out like I do. I have a David Allen cheetah set that is probably closest to a traditional tele sound, but is also the guitar I play the least. I have one of those big ass BG1400 pickups in a guitar that I really dig too.

I haven’t played the Texas specials so I won’t be too much help, but considering it’s Fender I’m guessing it’s their “overwound” pickups. I’ve heard a lot of dudes dig them though. Probably a bit more push with the sacrifice of some high end

Single coil sized P90. Hmm. That sure sounds interesting. Does it actually sound like a P90 ?

Love those straps! I've made a few, starting with a visit to an Amish harness shop, cheap as dirt.
I made a 3" when I was gigging with a LP (heavy). Sewed up a sliding sleeve from mohair that fits like those seat belt sleeves and would slide it up to my shoulder where the weight is. But compared to yours...fugly.
