So basically we're paying extra money because this thing is signed?

Explain to me the point of installing a pickup in a guitar that's been signed by EVH when the fscking signature is ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PICKUP WHERE NOBODY WILL SEE IT.

Glad to see folks are still using their noodles these days :)

I can imagine being in that room when they were figuring out how many to make - balancing the number of morons with nothing better to blow their money on against how many they thought EVH would actually sign. I wonder if it is an actual signature or just a "sharpie silk screen."

For the almost same price, you could buy an MIM strat and a Duncan bridge pickup and get fairly close...

EVH has a couple of his turds on Ebay right now.

The "corn" chunk turd is up to 3400.00

The "nut" chunk turd is up to 2530.00

Sounds like the pickup is a helluva deal to me! :thumbsup:

I think I'm going to start relicing pickups. It seems that there's money in it, and I'll do it for half the price the MFG would do it for.
