Well, I finally did it after many false starts and pressed the "buy now" button.

I'm a whore. Now, I feel so....dirty, cheated, cheap, used :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL:

Will see how it goes.

Only beef with the Axe as of late is the lack of its software editor "Axe-Edit". They're completely rewriting it from scratch to work better with the Axe-II and it's latest FW ver.8 Outside of this, it's a piece of work man. Do yourself one favor, ask for help on this forum - not theirs. If you're at all like me, and experience anything like I did and do over there, lawd hepp me son, they be a strange bunch over there.

I feel confident that there will be some presets to suit me just fine. Just show me the volume control.... :D

Actually, I put down on one about 3 months ago, then changed my mind. But, after hearing what the unit can do direct to the FOH without the stage clutter, I got more interested. Anyway, if it doesn't work out, I can sell it in Europe for like $100,000.

When Kemper decides to put out a unit that fits in a rack, I may check one of those out too.

The Axe is not as hard as some make it out to be, a buddy of mine got his yesterday
and he's playing a gig with it tonight with just a few pointers I gave him.

It will work great in the loops of all them killer amps you own for F/X also!!

You're gonna punt that thing through two camel's humps and it will land in the desert.

When you get it, do me a favor...have one of your favorite amps right next to it ready to go. Dial in a tone you dig in the Axe and note how long it took. Then plug in to your amp. Done.

I think about getting one again as well - but it seems like it would be the same as getting back into a bad relationship. Sure there are a lot of good times, but there is always that one thing that just makes you go, "oh yeah, now I remember why I left your ass". ;) :lol: :LOL:

Alot of guys are using them as backups in their live rigs and for the effects alone. Might not be a bad investment for those reasons alone. Sounds like a great sound tool..I can't wait to hear your feedback..Jedi-Tubemaster :lol: :LOL:
