Man, it's a sad little store
Crossville isn't that big really, but there must not be many musicians here in town. It's a small little mom n' pops place with a few pretty nice US Strats on the wall, a handful of PRS SEs, and a couple other decent guitars, but then you have your no name brands that are good for the beginners. I didn't really pay attention to the acoustic wall, because acoustics are for people who aren't cool enough to play heavy rock. They have a small accessories section, a section of used cables (I wouldn't trust a used cable as I've seen how people treat their cables), a handful of used pedals I've never heard of, a couple pickups, and a small selection of picks and strings.
The old man behind the counter was friendly and asked if there's anything he could make a deal on for me, but they didn't really have much I was interested in. Then...I saw a used Roland JC55. Is it the same amp as the JC120 that was everywhere in the 80s and 90s, just smaller; or is it a whole different amp? They were asking $295 for it. I didn't test it out or look on the back to see if everything was there or whatever. But, since I want to do that 80s-00s hits cover band, this amp may be a good way to have something at home to practice with that has that lush chorus that was everywhere in the 80s so I can at least halfway sound like what I'm trying to play.
