Yeah that's it! Not too Exciting.

99 black standard, Alnico 2 neck, JB Bridge... 50's neck...

An SG was my second electric guitar in 81?!? haven't had one since...

LOVING sitting on the couch ripping away, I'm inspired to fire up lessons, or just screw with the RP1000...

It's super comfortable and lightweight, upper access is stupid good, resonant, It's a keeper!! :rock:

I never owned one or even thought of one until I got an opportunity to get a worn brown faded model on the cheap. Love that guitar! Fat, cutting tone, big 50's style neck, plays great. Sorry I waited so long to embrace the joy that is SG...
 
i've had my '73 standard for almost 40 years. it's still a great sounding and playing instrument. :thumbsup:

Man i did the same thing. Bought one of the fadeds with the ebony fretboard with a broken headstock from a friend of mine. Put a set of detroiters in it and a set of sperzels, and it is a tone machine, that fits like a glove. Actually recorded in the studio with that guitar instead of my les paul

Sick, man.....I've never been attracted to SGs, or even played one. I'd rock the crap outta that.

The gold one has tuning problems but i think some of that Big Bends Nut Sauce is gonna fix it right up.
