One stack was effected with my MXR flanger, for a kind of hollow sound; another stack was just straight up and dry, and the third was set similar to the dry stack except that it had a little more gain. Separately, one sounded horrible, one sounded great and the other sounded bassy; but together they still sounded fucking horrible."

i still have yet to figure out why i'm such a cunt...no one else has either

fixed

i didnt notice you posted here on this thread but someone just asked me about it, and since i placed you on my ignore list about 9 months ago, i missed this.

see what i did there?

Boo hoo, don't be such a baby
I happen to like Pantera, just not Diamond's tone; that's the case for many, many people
Grow up, it was just a joke

, is there a band you listen to just because of the tone?

first, yes Pantera still rules

2nd, that band for me is Megadeth. been listening to it like crazy lately (though my music preferences were never hundered)

3rd (FLAME SUIT ON!) ...three doors down... those F'n amps sound awesome. too bad what they play live isn't what they record with. i think i have owned every amp they have used live, including a TriAmp and i haven't ever quite copied their tone. miss the TriAmp, i wish they were reliable. both of mine were in the shop more often than not... literally
