Cantrell is my guy. We know this. I used to fantasize about having a G&L Rampage as a kid but G&L didn't make them since the late 80s. In 2009 they came out with a Cantrell signature model and I have wanted one ever since.

I found a new import Cantrell model for $340 shipped. The wife who urged me to get it so I pulled the trigger. So fucking excited. Its satisfying my inner 13-year old.

Congrats man! That's a great price.
Thanks what my pink Peavey Vandenberg is to me. Could never get one when I was 12, but got one much later on off eBay in my working adulthood :)

Man, I forgot how much I've wanted one of those.

It'll be nice to see you playing something other than a Schecter in a video! :D

It was a Mesa Dual Rectifier for me. They were priced so far out of my reach in the early 90's, I really felt like I would never have one.

It really is awesome to capture that unicorn.

I just played one of these in the used section at the Tacoma Guitar Center last week. Cool playing guitar. I didn't know it was a JC model until I saw his name on it. Thought it looked familiar though.

Nice! The G&L tribute guitars are the best bang for buck out there IMO. Really consistent guitars.

My main axe for the past couple years has been this guy:

'86 USA Invader modded to be more like a Rampage. Got it CHEAP off Juggs awhile back and it has more mojo than any other guitar I own. Friggin love Cantrell and this gets close to his vibe but a bit different because of the different wood, etc. I wouldn't mind picking up a tribute Cantrell eventually also

Awesome guitar. The only thing that has prevented me from pulling the trigger on one of those is the damn volume pot position. It's way too close to the bridge pickup which means my hand will keep wacking it.
