That is badass Pete! So you stripped the tolex away and hand-drew the finish yourself? I'm more than impressed with how it came out. Is this the same Avenger that you were selling a while back? Is it your main gigging/recording amp now? I picked one up a few months back and couldn't be happier with it. It sounds great un-boosted, but throw an SD1 or Timmy out front and it will eat any amp alive :yes:

Well I'm way more impressed now. I thought it was tolex. I just read that you did it yourself (now I see that its the wood box). KILLER!!!.

That's awesome! I showed my gf last night and it's one of the few times she was super interested in something gear related!

She asked if there were any of my amps I would want to (or could) do that to and I said "no, I'd have to buy an Avenger" ;) ....she didn't seem opposed! :thumbsup:

Na, its not gonna come off, and any abuse it takes will actually make it look more authentic! Gotta love not havin to baby your gear :)
