I have four Celestions and no cab...

I have four Celestion G12T-100s that nobody wants. I thought about buying a cab, but I don't really need (or want) any more cabs.

They're good speakers, so I don't want to just toss them in the trash, but it's like I can't even give them away.

Would you guys just find an empty 4x12 and then sell it as a whole, or just toss them into the abyss?

Damn. I don't need them, but if you're just trying to get rid of them, I'd find them a home.

Unfortunately, I doubt you'd sell a loaded 4x12 for much more than an empty one. Unless it's a sought- after model, in which case good luck finding it unloaded to begin with.

I should add, if it were me I'd still find an empty cab and sell them as a unit. Even if it didn't make anything. I hate to see anything useful thrown away.

That's my dilemma. Even if I find a loaded cab and swap out the speakers, then I might get stuck with those speakers depending on what they are.

I guess I'll keep an eye out for empty cabs and see what happens. They're mainly just taking up space on my shelf at this point, and not really hurting anything, so I guess patience is a virtue.

Nothing wrong with them. They're 4ohm which maybe turns people off?

I replaced them with Celestion Redbacks which seemed to match up well with my Rockerverb 50 (at least to me).

The Redbacks look like sweet speakers.

I have them in an Avatar 4x12 I got off GC used.

I found 2 solid Avatar cabs on there. I was thinking about a third one, but that's definitely overkill, and cuts into my guitar storage space.

You can still wire them all in series and get a 16 ohm cab.

I got a couple speakers just laying around too. Was thinking of buying an unloaded 2x12 from Avatar or something?? That way they are not just collecting dust.
