I just realized the secret to tone is a treble booster

I have many knobs that I twirl (lol) but by far the best knob is the treble knob on my booster pedal. I set it to a small boost over stock pickup tone but then I crank the treble to like +10db. Makes my Marshall sound wicked good. All the tone tweaking I have tried pales in comparison to boosting treble. All I can figure is it gives me the sustain I like without boosting all the other frequencies into mud.

Seriously though, this gives me the tone I always heard in my head. Weird how that works eh.

I like this sound better than any modified Marshall I have heard.

Yup, its just amazing how complex the character of the amp becomes. I guess I am just now catching up.

I had a Crispy Cream treble booster i liked a lot. Tipton and Downing from Priest said their secret to boosting their Marshalls was a treble booster.

BUT.....check out this pedal. AWESOME sustain here.
