yep..totally spontaneous yet interesting. She was parked in a Beach parking lot and i was just walking to my car and saw this hippie looking chick in a van playing guitar and singing. So i just walked up sat next to her ,talked music, lit up and got goofy with her. ..never saw her after that and little did i know she was gonna be famous in the following two years or so!

See now that's weird. For years I moonlighted as a cross dressing, Jewel impersonator in San Diego. Though I pulled it off really well, most guys caught on pretty quickly. I don't know if it was the Adam's apple, the 5'oclock shadow, or the bulge in the front of my skirt that tipped them off that I wasn't the real Jewel.

There was this one time though, I was chillin' down by the beach and strumming some chords on my acoustic. This dude walked up in a "Rising Force" World Tour '85 shirt, chatted me up and seemed to take no notice that I was really a dude dressed up as Jewel. We hit it off pretty well until he totally started trying to make out with me. What was up with that guy? Weirdo.
