I saw Winger maybe 3 times in the past 7-8 years in a nearby club they seem to play once a year. Never was a fan back in the day but after seeing them they do kick ass. Reb is super cool, just pounding Coors Lights and shredding his ass off all night.

I met him backstage when he was in Dokken. Great guy. IMO he's GOAT level. Saw him twice with that band. He was so good it was ridiculous.

In addition to his playing, Reb is really funny. I love his impersonations of people...Doug Pinnick and Coverdale comes to mind from this interview.

My old band opened for Winger in 2009. They were absolutely killer. Kip and Reb were super cool as well.

Got to play a show opening for Dokken with Reb on guitar and hung out with him before the show. Ended up opening an Alice Cooper show sometime thereafter, Reb walks in the back door, I’m leaning against the wall and he says, “hey, Brian…” remembering my name and carrying right on with conversation. He was a super, super nice and down to Earth person, let alone monster player and singer. I’m sure he doesn’t remember, however, he made a lasting impression on what an ideal rockstar should be in my mind. Met many a supposed rockstar back then - including Don Dokken quietly coming onto the patio with us peons before the show that same night (super nice guy and hang), however, Reb sticks out. …as anyone can see in this and countless other videos: ‘cause he’s just a great person.
