I'll tell ya my take on why this place is so great; there's no idolatry; it's not a caste system of membership; there's no applauding one person as a guru or better than another.

Although I am not really just an 80's guy, I turned 10 in 1973. I'm old...

Anyone that lived through the 60's through early 90's and was into music witnessed a special time. No matter what genre, it was a cool time to be into music.

This is a cool forum to hang at, I have met some real decent people here.

Thanks mailman. Where in Michigan are you located? I was born in Port Huron but lived in Detroit for a time right after i was born.

Seriously, this place is great. I don't post much but I visit everyday to read up.

And there are some seriously nice dudes/dudettes here. I bought my amp (Splawn) and a guitar (EBMM JP6) from RT and the sellers have shipped them half way round the world to me here in OZ with no dramas.

I loved a simply awesome band, Brother Kane, album Wishpool. Found one guy here that know a bit about them, what the singer guitar player is doing. Interesting listen, BTW.

Great band - didn't they do "And Fools Shine On" ?? One of my all time faves
