Dude, I had the trailer! I was a genius with programming that thing at such a young age.

This was the toy I loved too because it had the only gun sounds that really sounded like Star Wars, back then at least.

Seriously 'though, I only ever had 2 "toys":

A basic Meccano set and a steam-driven locomotive that I used metho and a wick to fire up. Thing was, I'd say, less than a foot long and I only ran it a couple o' times. Was "messy" - real sooty.

This was my first RC. I was stoked. Burned out the 540 motor in like 3 days. Sucked as the hobby shop was 20 minutes away and had to wait 2 weeks for my mom to bring me to get a new one.

Pretty close to this anyway. Mine was similar but a 3 speed at the thumb. I remember the handle bar tassels and the fact that it was a 3 speed, which IIRC was almost futuristic in 1975
