I need a head for a Suhr 2 x 12 with vintage 30s

The Snorkler is the one I think about the most. I’ve been listening to some of the Alice In Chains albums and some of the YouTube examples. Really good
I honestly think about the Snorkler as one of the best modded Marshalls I've had, by coincidence can also nail AIC tones. Feel is as good as a 60s Plexi, clarity fantastic, and the loop vol allows you to push the power tubes and play and a low vol. Noise gate is great as well. Outer chassis bias points are a bonus tool.

I vote a used Goldfinger SL. I’ve been playing mine more than anything else lately and it’s just an incredible take from reinhold on 60s-80s Marshall flavors. It does the Bonner thing, but has a gain eq knob that lets you shift to the more classic hi mid Marshall tone if that’s your thing. One of the great sleeper amps that you can find in your range. Mines on a 2x12 with a v30 and a g12h30 right now and it kills.

Get a Snorkler.

It's a great addition to your lineup without much crossover. It's more modded Marshall with the Bogner lower mid growl.
Sounds great through my Marshall labelled Vintage 30s.
Suhr SL67 MK II, Mesa MK VII, PRS HDRX 50, and the 3rd Power Dragon 100
I agree with Racerxrated........with the amps you have in your stable the only one that won't be redundant probably would be the Snorkler which would give you that Bogner take on a Marshall tone.:2thumbsup:

Blonde Bassman or Bandmaster head
I like those as well................A Fender Bandmaster is one thing completely different than what he has......I'm sure he is looking for a bit more gain though.

I really don't know what amp could float yur boat here Carl..........you got som damn fine amps in that collection. You might even be disappointed in the Snorkler or an XTC after getting it.:dunno::LOL:

The Bogner XTC comes to mind with your style of playing I think more so than the Snorkler......
