I need a TC G Force owner to check in please

I just got a TC G Force today and I'm getting the hang of it fairly well, except for one problem. I can't seem to get it to stay on user presets only. I hit recall, put it on "user" and can edit and store a preset to a patch. The problem is when I come back to that patch on my Ground Control Pro, the G Force calls up the factory preset, instead of my user preset. I've read the manual pretty much front to back and can't seem to figure it out.

think you have to map your ground control preset number to the gforce user preset location in the MIDI/USER mapping mode section

otherwise GC preset 1 by default will bring up gforce ROM factory preset 1

Yes, that is correct. You need to map midi control to the user presets not the Rom presets.

You don't have to do midi mapping, you can specify in the Midi menu to only use the User Presets.

Go to I/O setup, in the midi section there is a mapping mode, set it to user and you're good to go.
