Well, I'll finally have a scalloped fretboard guitar. It's not an Yngwie model, but it'll do. It's a Warmoth with a swamp ash body, Music Man style headstock with what looks like a speck or two of birdseye, and a 24 fret scalloped ebony board with stainless steel frets. It has a German Schaller Floyd with a big brass block. It has a DiMarzio Crunch Lab/PAF Pro pickup set and is 7lbs 7oz.
It should be a blast to play. I asked him if he had taken the neck off to look for the Warmoth turtle stamp and he assured me it's Warmoth. I'm going to take the neck off first thing just to make sure. I'll have to find some very low profile fret marker stickers so I'll be able to actually see where I'm at when I'm playing, but it's time to really hone my light touch so I can shred those notes.
