I played a BLADES...

And I liked it. It is however, even more ridiculous looking in real life than in pics. If you're in the Atlanta area, it's on consignment at Atlanta Discount Music. I didn't crank it up too loud but it sounded really good. Not $2100 good though. It was fairly quiet and could get downright nasty sounding. All of the various tone shaping switches seemed to do what they were supposed to do. All that said, it actually sounded a lot like my 5150 III 50 watt but with more of an el34/Marshall flair. Cool amp.

All bs aside, I've always said the clips sound great.....I just couldn't ever bring myself to buy one from that clown. Maybe cheap, and get a different headshell, different knobs, grind off the name 'Blades'.....

That's the rub for me too. It's covered in truck bed lining stuff. Like stucco. Hideous. The flipside is this complete nut job put his mind to it and did it. For that, I commend him.

Yeah ya gotta give him that much. I'll never understand the need for that numbnuts to rip on people that never wronged him though. Friedman, Fortin and others were bad mouthed by him for no reason. Unforgivable and unnecessary.

Fucking Hilarious. I was just going to post I played the same amp at the same store. I Checked it out on Saturday. For the modded Jose thing it really sounded pretty good, but it is amazing to behold
