i've got one in v-1 in my laney aor. very nice. i've got an amperex bugle boy i v-2 which is the clean input on an aor. v-1 on an aor is the overdrive. i had one in v-1 of my dsl until the bias took a crap.. then i pulled it for bench purposes. saved up some cash this summer for repairs and such. it'll go back in the dsl once i have the bias fixed.

Hi Scott, I'm very fine, thanks, well relaxed from three weeks on french beaches (Brittany - as always) with the girls learning to surf while I've built some castles in the sand with my son. Weather was nice (its never super hot, you know).
We are thinking about to buy a house there - not only for vacation but also for the time after retirement, which for me isn't too far away Just 18 more years.

Been well and the family is doing great, work has been nuts due to downsizing and me trying to fill the gaps. Retirement is at least 18 years for myself as well but instead of vacation homes I have the boat bug something fierce and I do not like cheapy made crap while I am in the middle of long island sound Ben looking at Formula

Hey, just checked them out, they have a lot of cool stuff, but some of it says "imperfect scores", I'm assuming you'd want to avoid those?
they are not consistant?

Love those tubes. Another good vintage 12ax7 is the Matsushita brand, similar to mullard in sound and about a 3rd of the price.
